Once a traditional library now has been remodeled into several different rooms with various functions. Early childhood reading center is furnished with flexible chairs, lounge seating and bookcases filled with a variety of books to read. Our collaborative workspace center has four workstations where groups of students can collaborate, working on one or more devices projected on the LCD monitors. Once a group of students has completed their collaborative project, they move into the open space for the whole class presentation. Using the interactive touch panel, every student in the class can easily view the presentation throughout the open gathering space. The open space even provides room for the Knightly News Studio, a student driven studio where eighth graders film, edit and produce daily morning announcements for our entire school.
