Service
St. Teresa Catholic School provides community members with many opportunities to serve our local and global communities. Students learn how to see the face of Christ in their neighbors while serving at local food banks, soup kitchens, and caring for God’s creation. These experiences teach our community members how to be Christ’s hands and feet in our world. The result of this experience is a growing awareness of the needs of others, greater compassion and a thirst for justice.
As noted on the school registration form, volunteer service and fundraising are a necessary part of school life. These requirements help defray the increasing costs of education and enable us to maintain relatively low tuition rates while providing many additional services. Each family is required to complete a designated minimum number of service hours.
