Extended Care
After our school day lets out at 3:15 P.M., St. Teresa offers an Extended Care Program. We wish to extend a warm welcome to the school families who may be in need of our services.
Upon arrival in the afternoons, students are given 20-30 minutes of quiet homework/study time after eating their afternoon snack, and then they are free to play board games, access our gym facility, go out on the playground, and do arts and crafts while spending time with their peers.
Rates of Extended Care are calculated per hour. Along with opening from 6:45 A.M – 7:35 A.M. for early morning arrivals, the program begins at 11:15 A.M for PreK-3 and VPK students, and at 3:15 P.M. for students in grades K-8, closing by 6:00 P.M. Each family enrolled into the program agrees to the rules and policies in the Extended Care handbook.
Points to note:
The Extended Care Program has limited enrollment. Registration forms are to be handed in prior arrival to the program. Spaces available will then be assigned to families on a first come/first served basis.
The Extended Care Program does not offer intermittent care.
All students must be registered in the Program.
The purpose of our Program is to provide care immediately before and/or after school. This is not a daycare program. Students may not come to the Extended Care Program after leaving the campus for dental/doctor appointments, off campus lunches, dance lessons, etc.
